Business Development & Operations Manager – India Expansion (Pune/Maharashtra)

About the Role
We are a fast-growing USA-based e-commerce and networking company expanding our operations into India. We are seeking a dynamic and self-driven professional to lead our business development efforts in Pune and across Maharashtra. This role requires a strong blend of marketing, sales, lead generation, customer support, and sponsorship acquisition expertise.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive business expansion initiatives across Pune and - Maharashtra
- Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies to generate qualified leads
- Identify, approach, and close vendor partnerships and sponsorship opportunities
- Manage end-to-end lead generation and sales conversion processes
- Build and maintain strong client and partner relationships
- Oversee customer support services to ensure high satisfaction and retention
- Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs
- Prepare and present weekly reports to the Founder, including:
- Leads generated
- Sponsorships acquired
- Deals closed
- Work independently with minimal supervision while ensuring accountability

Qualifications & Requirements
- MBA (required) in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- 2–3 years of experience in a similar role (e.g., Relationship Manager, Business Development, Sales)
- Proven track record in:
Sales target achievement
Lead generation and conversion
Client relationship management
- Strong experience in marketing and communication
- Demonstrated ability to close deals and secure partnerships/sponsorships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Excellent proficiency in English language.
- Highly self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven
- Preferred Skills
- Experience working in e-commerce, networking, or startup environments
- Strong local network within Pune and Maharashtra
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple stakeholders.
